Retiring Directors.
We had two valuable Directors resign at the end of the 2020-21 year. Treasurer John stood down after 3 years in the job and handed control of our finances to Mark. Prue has been the New Generations Director for many years, but it was time for her to take a break and so she has handed over her portfolio to Catherine.  Incoming President Bill thanked both Pru and John for their service over the years.

Paul Harris Fellow.

PDG David Egan presented a Paul Harris Fellow to International Director Gavin Sidhu.
Gavin has been organising with the District and a Ugandan Rotary Club to improve the dental health of Ugandan school children. This involved setting up a Global Grant through the Rotary Foundation and many hours of negotiating with the parties involved to bring this project to fruition. Despite ongoing complications over COVID-19 restrictions, the project is almost complete with the final hurdle insight.

The New President
President Bill and his partner Sandie joined our Rotary Club as a Friend of the Club, but soon became full members and joined the Board, Sandie as Secretary and Bill as Fellowship Director.
Bill and Sandie have been actively involved in all aspects of the club, from turning up at the working bee to taking on leadership roles in many projects. The Airshow had both of them as key workers and they contributed significantly to the event's success.

Next year looks to be an exciting year under Bill's leadership.
