Club Night Meeting.
The first meeting of the year saw the members meet in their committees to plan the year ahead. Several issues were identified and solutions resolved. A meeting time and place has been allocated for Committees and the board. Committees will meet after the club meeting on the second Thursday of the month, and the Board will meet on the 4th Thursday of the month. Two rooms have been booked to allow the bigger committees to meet away from the main room, Please note, some committees may want to meet at less frequent times or at a different venue depending on their workload and activities, but your committee Team Leader will let you know where and when your committee will meet.
An important date was set by the International Committee, for their Quiz Night on August 10th at the Clubhouse. This is a Saturday night function with all funds raised going to support the Uganda Dental Project. Get your friends together for an entertaining evening of trivia and fellowship.
The Clubhouse staff will clear the tables after a successful trial at the meeting which will have mutual benefits for both club members and Clubhouse Staff.
IPP Sue Graetz will be the Clubhouse coordinator, so any matters pertaining to the Clubhouse should be directed to her.
Club Runner training programs will be set up to happen after the club meetings over the next few weeks, exceptions will be board and committee meeting nights. The Clubhouse TV will be used to show the screen activities so we can accommodate a few people at a time, probably no more than 6 people as active participants.
