Bim Lange gave us a very enlightening talk on the Barossa Council and some of the problems in administering the region.
We have a large area with complex needs but with a limited purse. Each project has to be considered on the value to the community, the cost of providing and maintaining and its impact on the community. The result is a delicate balance in providing the necessary services and keeping the community rates at a reasonable level.
Bim answered many questions from the members and left us with the thought that the Barossa Valley council is in good hands.
